Today I am sharing with you some of my Instagram photos. As a blogger, I try to be equally present on most major social media platforms and let me tell you: it ain’t easy. Unless you make it your business and you do nothing else but that, there’s just not enough hours in a day to be everywhere. Now, I’m not saying it is easy for those who run their blog as a business. Blogging is hard work, whether you make money with it or not. It’s just a bit easier when you get compensated and you can afford a VA (virtual assistant) to help you out. So, as long as I am passionate about what I do I will be blogging and maybe one day money will come…I wish.
What I love about Instagram is the convenience of instantly sharing photos. The photos you snap with your cellphone on the go. No blog-worthy, post processed photos posted on my part. Maybe some with an occasional filter, just for fun. I do share photos of my recipes too but they are not hash-tagged #mobilephotography or #instaphoto.
Although I’m on Instagram often, my social media platform of preference is Facebook. It’s great because I can schedule posts ahead of time, for when I’m too busy. But the best part is that all my family and friends are always on Facebook and it is so easy to keep in touch. You will find me there the most. Unless you’re tired of my posts and you hide me 🙁
Twitter is growing on me, especially since I can share my photos directly from Instagram with just one click. You can also schedule posts ahead of time, which I haven’t been doing lately. Same with Pinterest. I was crazy about Pinterest at some point. I admit that I don’t manage that account as I should. Then there’s Google+, my least favorite. Why do I need all those accounts, you might ask. If you’re a blogger, a photographer, an artist, a DIY-er, an author, a musician, etc., you know why. You get inspired, you get connected, and you get noticed. That’s why.
And for those who have noticed me I want to say this: a warm hug and a big thank you for following along on All that’s Jas. It means the world. Without you there wouldn’t be All that’s Jas. I love when you leave comments or questions. To my silent followers, those shy ones, I appreciate you too! Thank you!!!
If you liked these photos and would like to see more of my crazy life, check back later, or follow me on Instagram!
What is your favorite camera? Besides my cellphone, I own a small Canon Power Shot with 50 x Opt Zoom that I keep in my car for those unexpected Kodak moments when my cell phone is not sufficient. I also have a Canon EOS Rebel with interchangeable lens for my food photography. I’d love to update that one eventually but it’s been serving me well. If you’re looking to buy a camera (Christmas is coming!), I would highly recommend Canon (not an affiliate). Amazon offers them in kits, giving you more for your money. Just click on the pictures below to see the specs and if you do buy through my links, I will get a small commission with no extra cost for you. Happy shopping and shooting 🙂
