It’s been one heck of a busy summer! I haven’t had free weekend in over three months and am ready for a little vacation to recharge my inner batteries and get mentally ready for the winter. I am not fan of winter at all (I only tolerate it at Christmas) and have hard time hibernating for almost 6 months. Yep, when it gets cold here in Northern Indiana it stays cold for a loooong time. Temperatures are already dropping below 50 F at nights and it’s only August! The upside is that I will have more time to cook and blog about it (and pack on some pounds, ugh).
Until then, I’m enjoying as much of my backyard as I can and capturing scenery to brighten the cold, gloomy days ahead.
