It is funny how sometimes, out of nowhere, I notice things that have always been there. Take church steeples for example: I drove by them a million times. I probably looked at them just as often but I didn’t really notice them until few weeks ago. It was a sunny, although chilly day. I was daydreaming in the passenger seat on the way to church lost in my thoughts, resting my head on the window and gazing at the clouds. I love clouds and they are especially pretty in autumn. That day the sky looked like a cotton field. Little soft white cotton balls scattered all over the blue canvas. The first steeple that interrupted my view was reflecting the sun in such a way that, from my seat it looked like it was knocking on Heaven’s door. Suddenly, I forgot about the clouds and anticipated the next steeple. How come I’ve never noticed them before? They’ve never stood that tall and magnificent like that day. So for the next few days while the sunshine lasted, I took my camera with me everywhere I went. And you know what? Since then I’m not only chasing clouds – I’m also on the lookout for steeples.
What is the one thing you started noticing? I would love to hear from you.
Looking forward to connecting to you soon.
