Mimosa

Mimosa - All that's Jas

There is no better way to make any occasion special than to toast with a glass of bubbly, am I right? Now, I’m not a big fan of champagne and neither is my husband. But we still want to make celebrations special. With this mimosa, we can. What I love about this recipe is that it doesn’t use orange juice, like popular mimosas.

I was so excited to find this recipe for mimosa using orange sherbet instead of the juice. You get the flavor and the fancy look all in one. Bingo! I’m so looking forward to New Year’s Eve to raise my mimosa glass at midnight.

OK, enough talking. Do I even need to post the recipe? Yes? Alright, here you go.

That is so easy to make Jas. Even a novice like me can make it, and believe me I am very bad at cocktails. Happy Holidays dear friend!

Mimosas on Christmas morning is one of our traditions. This is a great twist on the original and I plan to have a couple. Thanks for bringing these to our party at Celebrate Your Story.

Alright, Jas…you lost me on not liking champagne. I crave champagne for any big celebration. It must be the bubbles. 😀 Love the idea of using sherbet for the mimosas, too. The possibilities are endless here…raspberry sherbet for Valentine’s Day and Christmas, lime sherbet for St. Patrick’s Day (though beer lovers may hate the idea)…such a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing at the #happynowlinkup!

Haha, Leslie! My husband doesn’t care for champagne and that’s why I’m not assuming that everyone likes it. But I LOVE IT! I’m glad I inspired you to think of more flavors. They are all great! Now I want to try them all, LOL

Jas this definitely looks like a great alternative to the standard orange juice that is used. I would like to try this with sherbert. Happy New Year!
