PHOTO FRIDAY 26 – Matte Painting

Matte Painting - All that's Jas

Sometimes I feel like Dory from Finding Nemo. I forget what I was doing a minute ago and I move on to the next thing. Other times I’m a magpie. I get easily distracted by shiny things. So it goes. Shiny things in my case are mostly new crafts, techniques (like matte painting or fusing cakes) or other things I’ve never tried before. Hence, All that’s Jas – Jas of all trades. It can be quite exhausting sometimes, and I have tons of unfinished projects, but I can’t quit me.

Matte painting technique in photography is used to create non-existing scenes or environment with digital manipulation. I used my own collage of photos just for fun. I’m not serious enough about it to use stock photos.

Those pictures are absolutely wicked!!! I love it. I’m bummed I can’t like your posts because everytime your page loads, the buttons are on continuous “loading”. I don’t know why that is…

Your Dory and magpie references gave me a chuckle! I feel that way sometimes too! Love the treatments on these photos! Really interesting and lovely!
