Thursday Favorite Things 199

Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things 199!

I have a confession to make. As a mother of only one child, I got little nervous when my daughter announced she was pregnant again. I always wondered how parents of multiple children can love them all equally. Sure they have favorites, they just won’t admit it, right?

My love for Ava, my first granddaughter, is so immense, I thought there can only be little love left to share. But God has made us so that with each new baby we obtain a new dose of that same immense love. The moment I saw my newest granddaughter I felt it.

I am proud to say I now belong to the kind of people that can easily accommodate two and more hearts. Alyvia Jane, born on July 21 is my newest favorite little being, but Avelyn Michaela will always be my first 😀

Congrats on your newest grandbaby! I have 5 children and love them all equally, and didn’t think I could love any other children more… but I have been blessed with two grandbabies of my own, and found out my heart has PLENTY of room to love those two, just as much as I do my own children. Enjoy!

Congratulations Jas! She is a doll! I think you will now have two grand children that adore grandma. You have 2 arms so you can hug them at the same time and of curse spoil them rotten and send them back to mom. Enjoy these special days!

I am a grammy of a 2+ yr. old and she is the delight of our life……………….like you never thought I could love anyone as much
as I do my own 2 children, but how wrong is that………….lol
Grandchildren are all the fun and a lil bit of responsiblility. That is the best part……………so much fun!!
Your are in for a real treat, I heard someone say if I’d known Grandparenting was gonna be so much fun, I would have done
    it first…………

    Lovely picture………..

Oh my Goodness, Nellie, that is a brilliant statement, lol! It IS so much fun to be a grandparent 😀 I also thought how could I possibly love someone as much as my own daughter but then Ava (my almost 3 YO granddaughter) came along to prove me wrong. There’s enough love to spread around and I’m going to have just as much fun spoiling Aly as I am having by spoiling Ava 🙂 Hugs!

Awwww, what a cutie. And I can assure you, you’ll still be expanding on the love even if you have 10, 20 +++ grandkids 🙂 (I’m around 11 plus grand-dogs as well). The interesting thing is that, as they get older and develop older personalities, you love them all the same, but you also find you share different areas of interest with each one. It’s quite fun, indeed! 🙂 Have a great Grand Social

Congrats on being a Grandma again! What a precious little bundle! I had the same question when I was pregnant with my second, I wondered how in the world I could love this new little being as much as I love my first. It is amazing how my heart expanded. I couldn’t imagine my world without them both!
Hope you are having a wonderful day and thanks for sharing on Talented Tuesday!
