Easy Baked Brie with Nuts and Cranberry

Easy Baked Brie with Nuts and Cranberry | All that's Jas

This crowd-pleasing appetizer is nearly effortless to make and perfect for holiday parties or snacking. Baked Brie with nuts and cranberry comes together easy and quick. Leave it to the French to come up with a perfect cheese!

Gooey, delicious oven baked brie cheese topped with nuts, and cranberries

Just thinking about the gooey goodness combined with glazed nuts and cranberries makes my mouth water. Why this dish isn’t proclaimed as dessert is beyond me. It’s like a mini cheesecake of sorts if you ask me. Sweet, nutty, and cheesy it reminds me of my maple cheesecake with candied nuts, except it is much, much quicker to make. Besides, the portion of this “cheesecake” is almost harmless. Not that I would give up making real cheesecakes. Because I wouldn’t. ๐Ÿ™‚

From sweet to savory, there are many ways you can enjoy brie. Brie and jelly French toast anyone? Or wrapped in puff pastry? Check out these 25 best brie recipes from Pure Wow and tell me none look good to you. If that’s the case, we can’t be friends. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pair this delicious baby, warm and melty on the inside, with a sweet wine like Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon or Port but also Pinot Noir or Chardonnay. Crusty French bread is a good match too! A perfect starter whether you’re entertaining a small company or having a big party.

I would eat this whole thing by myselfโ€ฆ but Mr Shoes would be miffed. So I will make it to share with him & him only. The rest of my philistine relatives can kick rocks. (They wouldnโ€™t know Brie if they sat in it, & anything unfamiliar makes them reflexively claim not to like it. Kick rocks.)

Haha, Mrs Shoes! I’m familiar with the notion. Let them kick rocks (new expression for me). More Brie for you ๐Ÿ˜‰

what a great looking appetizer! i’ve been doing a baked brie with cranberries and nuts as my thanksgiving appetizer for a few years, and it’s always a hit. i usually only serve it with apples in a small effort to make it healthier!
